Coach Danny Rocco’s take
“He was a guy we really liked. He was an early commitment to Richmond. So we kind of just went our separate ways. As the coaching change occurred at Richmond, there was some conversation. It felt like Richmond maybe wasn’t going to be the best place for Matt to go. So he pursued us. Coach (Levern) Belin had done a good job with him on the front end and he certainly had recollection and interest. He’s not real tall. But he’s a physical run-and-hit player. He can do a number of things for us and will probably play on the inside.“
DYLAN BOWMAN
Position: Tight end/Defensive end
Height: 6-3
Weight: 240
Hometown: Ocean Isle Beach, N.C.
High School: West Brunswick

Coach Danny Rocco’s take
“Tall, long. He’s going to be a real big kid. Big hands. He had a defensive end on his team on the other end that went to Alabama. We saw Dylan play every bit as hard and he was every bit as productive. So we’re really excited about him. And he’s got some dual-position potential as a possible tight end. We’re going to see how he continues to grow.“
TRACY CURRY
Position: Wide receiver
Height: 6-1
Weight: 195
Hometown: Ocala, Fla.
High School: Lake Weir

Coach Danny Rocco’s take
“He’s really fluid. He had numerous I-A opportunities, and this was just the right place for him. We’re really excited about him. He’s one of those guys who could be a real difference maker here in this league.“
I’ll get three more up before the LU-Winthrop game tomorrow.
