Quick notes:

—Just to catch everyone up on the injury news while I was gone for two days, outfielder Andrew Means was placed on the disabled list with an injured wrist suffered on a check swing in his Lynchburg debut Friday. He’s already back in Goodyear, Ariz. Shortstop Miguel Rojas, who has been on the DL since June, is rehabbing with the AZL Reds right now and he could end up back here before the season’s over.

—Reliever Nick Christiani, last seen beating up the beat at a Zebulon, N.C., nightspot, is back in Lynchburg after a cup of coffee in Double-A. RHP Justin Freeman went up to Carolina after Friday night’s game. RHP Blair Carson has been sent back to Dayton.

—The Hillcats now have eight players on the disabled list: Means, Rojas, infielder Alex Buchholz and pitchers Scott Gaffney, Aguido Gonzalez, Lance Janke, Mark Serrano and Mace Thurman.

—As I noted on Twitter Saturday, the Braves promoted former Liberty University pitcher Andrew Wilson to Myrtle Beach last Friday, and Wilson made his High-A debut that night in Potomac. We’ll have a story on Wilson’s progress at some point during the homestand.
