Scouting the opponent: Presbyterian

First off, the Twitter feed is here. Follow it for blog updates.

- Liberty’s Brent Vinson was named the Big South’s freshman of the week, and Flames punter Mike Larsson was the conference’s special teams player of the week.

- Liberty held steady at No. 23 in the Sports Network poll and entered the coaches poll this week at No. 24.

My ballot for this week’s Sports Network poll:

(Note: I had a major brain fart this morning and screwed up two of the teams, leaving Northern Iowa ahead of South Dakota State. Completely forgot that SDSU had won that game. Anyway, what I’ll post below is what I should have voted.)

1. Richmond
2. Montana
3. Southern Illinois
4. New Hampshire
5. Villanova
6. Elon
7. William & Mary
8. South Dakota St.
9. Stephen F. Austin
10. South Carolina St.
11. Delaware
12. Appalachian St.
13. Northern Iowa
14. Central Arkansas
15. Weber St.
16. Eastern Illinois
17. Holy Cross
18. Liberty
19. Lafayette
20. Northern Arizona
21. McNeese St.
22. Massachusetts
23. Colgate
24. Jacksonville St.
25. Prairie View A&M

Also, of note, I’ll be on the AP basketball poll voting board this season, so I’ll be sure to post my ballot each Monday morning during the hoops season.
