Hokies headed to Columbia, S.C., for NCAAs
Virginia Tech’s baseball team is headed to Columbia, S.C., this weekend for the NCAA Tournament, where it will be the No. 2 seed in its four-team region.
The Hokies (38-20) will play No. 3 seed The Citadel (42-20) on Friday in the first game (time TBA) of the double-elimination regional tournament. No. 1 South Carolina (43-15) takes on No. 4 Bucknell (25-33).
The Hokies are making their ninth overall NCAA Tournament appearance and first since 2000.
