Vassallo earns NABC honor
For the second straight year, Virginia Tech senior wing A.D. Vassallo has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-District 2 second team.
Vassallo, who played high school basketball at Faith Christian Academy in Hurt, is averaging a team-high 18.9 points per game. The Toa Baja, P.R., native is currently eighth in career scoring at Tech and needs just four 3-point field goals to set a new school career record.
